The Temple
The Temple — also known as the Temple of Convenience — is a hidden bar beneath Great Bridgewater Street in Castlefield, housed in a former Victorian public toilet from the 1800s. A favourite of Elbow's Guy Garvey, the pub is referenced in the band's song "Grounds for Divorce."
